Notice of 10% Fuel Surcharge Implementation
16th March 2026 Dear Valued Customer, The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has caused a significant increase in global fuel prices, particularly jet fuel. Although the MADANI government has maintained the retail subsidy price for petrol and diesel, airlines have begun imposing additional fuel surcharges to offset the rising cost of aviation fuel. As air transportation for shipment to East Malaysia and to international destinations is a critical component of our logistics operations, these increased charges have resulted in a substantial rise in our operating costs. Over the past one week, Skynet has made every effort to absorb these additional costs in order to maintain the rates offered to our valued customers. However, the continued escalation in fuel-related expenses has made it increasingly challenging for us to sustain the current pricing structure. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that effective 20 March 2026, an additional fuel surcharge of 10% will be applied to the existing rates offered to you for shipments to East Malaysia and International destinations. Please note that this surcharge is subject to review in line with airline fuel surcharge adjustments. Any changes will be updated on our website at www.skynet.com.my Please note that this surcharge is intended as a temporary measure. Once global jet fuel prices stabilize and airlines withdraw the fuel surcharge, Skynet will review and remove the additional surcharge accordingly. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support as we navigate these external cost pressures together. Skynet remains committed to providing reliable services and maintaining the highest level of operational efficiency for our customers. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Dr. Teo Bee Yap Executive Director
